LADIES OF THE LIGHTS

A rare look at the lives of women who manned

lighthouses  before they became automated in the late 60s. Speaker and author Patricia Majher brings a refreshing historical perspective with her presentation.

JUNE - JULY 

SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITY  FOR YOUTH

Build a bed with Let's Build or participate in a Faith & Art Bible study.  One day experiences are held throughout the summer and include many youth groups from out-of-state.

Speaker and author Julie Rubini will share the true life story of Millie Benson who created the Nancy Drew mystery book series.

COOKIE EXCHANGE

Learn about several ethnic cookies from the creator of "Cookie College" and take home a sample box of sweets.

NOVEMBER

PUMPKIN CARVING

Thursday, Nov. 16 at 12pm Lunch & Learn

Be amazed at the artwork and stories involved with intricate pumpkin carving. Lunch features pumpkin recipes of all kinds.

DECEMBER

CAROLS OF THE NATIVITY

Thursday, Dec. 21 at 11pm Lunch & Learn

Music and stories of the nativities at 11am followed by lunch at noon. Guest musicians and carol singing!

COLD AS ICE

OH Humanties awardee and Dennison University Professor  David Baker will read from his books of poetry.
