LITURGICAL ARTS EXHIBIT

HeART Gallery will sponsor a Liturgical Arts event with an exhibit on

Thursday, Oct 18 and workshop on Friday, Oct. 19. Faith, art and creativity are expressed in a variety of handmade paraments, banners and vestments on loan from many diverse faith communities of Toledo. Examples and process will be discussed in the workshop, which offers opportunity for education and inspiration for those who wish to create sacred art "by" the church, "for" the church. Workshop demonstrations include finishing and weighting techniques, patterns and resources for materials.

The event opens with Lunch & Learn from 12-1pm on Thursday, Oct 18 and evening gallery exhibit open to the public from 5-8pm. There is a $15 registration fee for the Friday, October 19 workshop held from 10am-2pm, lunch included.
