FINNFEST

Finnish food and crafts will be featured at the January 16

Lunch & Learn beginning at noon.

During the month of January, HeART Gallery will exhibit

the photography of Finnish born Jason DeBose. “They

Left 150 Years Ago” documents the contemporary lives

of Americans of Finnish ancestory. Drawing upon the

experience of his own family, where some immigrated

to the US, while other family members remained in

Finland, the photos often portray two branches of the

same family in similar settings, yet separated by an

ocean. Complimenting the photographs will be a

mini FINNFEST Lunch & Learn with Scandinavian themed

food and music. Reservations appreciated to
