Backyard Escape

“Backyard Escape”, a traveling juried quilt show from Sacred Threads, will be on display through February 25. The colorful wall hangings have been made by quilters from across the United States, each reflecting joy, spirituality or peace within the theme “Backyard Escape”. The exhibit may be viewed in small groups by appointment, or in a virtual tour to be posted soon on YouTube: St Pauls Lutheran Toledo. Sacred Threads is a non-profit organization located in Alexandria, VA. The group curates a bi-annual quilt show in the Washington, D.C. area where quilters share their experiences of healing, strength and spiritually through fiber art. Sacred Thread exhibits provide thought provoking insights and encouragement and the quality of workmanship attracts a wide array of visitors. From here, the exhibit goes to the University of Michigan hospital art gallery.
