NANCY DREW! Lunch & Learn Sept 21 12pm

Author Julie Rubini reveals the mysteries behind Mildred “Millie” Wirt Benson, the original ghostwriter of the Nancy Drew Mystery Stories. Learn about Millie’s early youth and college years, and how her life intersected with that of Edward Stratemeyer, the creator of the Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys and Bobbsey Twins series. Julie pulls back the curtain to reveal the story behind the popular stories, and the woman who first wrote them.

Our menu will be inspired from lunches mentioned in several Nancy Drew books.

The gallery exhibit will be a display of contemporary quilts and wall hangings made by the Northwest Ohio Modern Quilters group. The room will be wrapped in colorful handmade textile artwork. Some pieces will be for sale.

Doors open at 11:30am. Lunch is served at noon, by donation. There is free parking in the KWIK

LOT adjacent to the church building, which is handicap accessible. An RSVP for lunch is appreciated HERE kate@stpaulstoledo.org.
