Spotlight Tour Thursday, March 17 at noon
This Lunch and Learn event on Thursday, March 17 at noon
will offer a spotlight on several art pieces created by members
of the Athena Arts Society. One of the oldest women's art
organizations in the country, the Athena Art Society Inc. began
in 1903 to assist and encourage women in all branches of the
Fine Arts. Athena continues to promote and develop the visual
arts and stimulate community participation.
Honoring National Women's month, 30 local women artists have
participated in this self-juried exhibit with paintings, sculpure,
photography and jewelry represented. Many pieces will be for sale.
Lunch and Learn is by donation, payable at the door. The meal includes soup or sandwich, seasonal salad
and dessert. A short presentation on selected piece will follow lunch, with an opportunity to view all of the
work before or after the meal. Parking is available in the KWIK lot adjacent to the church, which is handicap
accessible. Make lunch reservations thru kate@stpaulstoledo.org.
